Who is submitting this application?
There are three classifications of applicants when submitting a building application. It is important you understand which of these three classifications you are before submitting your application.
Owner
The person, persons or trust who is the registered Owner on the State Governments registered Title for the site. Where the Owners Details do not correspond with the Title, then proof of ownership is required.

Company
A company lodging the application to the Private Certifier on behalf of the Owner. The company may be the Owner or the Owners nominated representative such as an Architect, Designer, Builder or other Third Party.

This policy applies to property owners who also intend to take on the responsibility of the building work themselves.
